A family-run store
At Felger’s Footwear, we've been selling healthy, comfortable shoes for every age since 1991.
Our story began when Mark and Brenda purchased the store in Houma, Louisiana. Today, the store is managed by Brenda and her daughter, Rebecca. With sister Shaun working at the store over the holidays, and Mark and Brenda’s granddaughter selling her first pair of shoes at age 6 (she is now 17), the store has become a truly multi-generational family business.

We sell shoes for every occasion for the whole family. Whether it's finding the perfect formal or casual style, jazz or ballet shoes, competition and dance team sneakers, or school shoes for your child's uniform, we have a wide range of brands to suit everyone.
Finding the perfect fit
We specialize in finding the right footwear and orthotics for any type of foot ailment. In-store, each staff member is trained to measure feet and select the most comfortable shoes for your family's feet using our state-of-the-art foot scanners. We are also proud to have fully-trained and certified fitters of therapeutic shoes.
Supporting Our Local Community
We believe in what we do to support our community. We donate to our local Girls on the Run organization and the Terrebonne Federation for Academic Excellence that helps support public schools. When Hurricane Ida hit in 2021, we were happy to donate shoes to those who lost everything.
